As you may recall, mayors have been invited to join the members of Honor Flight of Northern Colorado to help sendoff 130+ World War II veterans on April 28 as the head to Washington D.C. to see the WWII Veterans Memorial.
This is a rare opportunity to thank our surviving veterans for their service to our country and it should be an wonderful event.
Please feel free to bring your spouse and/or extend this invitation to your city council if you think someone might be interested in attending. Attendees should plan on arriving between 9:00 and 9:15 am and the veterans will be arriving at 9:30 am. The event should conclude by 10:30am when the veterans are boarding their flight.
I hope that we see a strong turnout for this event!
